James Clark (born 12 March 1963) is a British diplomat. He is Consul General at Chicago, and was British Ambassador to Luxembourg.〔Damian Whitworth, "A new breed of diplomat", ''The Times'', 14 January 2005; see (''The Times'' online archives ); accessed 3 August 2010.〕 He was called "a new breed of diplomat" by ''The Times''.〔 A career diplomat, he was assigned to the European Union first secretariat in Bonn, Germany.
